Wroclaw será Capital Europeia da Cultura 2016 e as actividades começam muito em breve!

O projecto de voluntariado Europeu “EVS Volunteers in European Capital of Culture 2016 Wrocław” irá decorrer de  1 de Julho 2016 até 31 de Janeiro 2017 (7 meses) em Wroclaw, na Polónia, e temos 2 vagas! Candidata-te e traz 1 amig@ também!

Este projecto irá envolver 12 voluntários vindos de Portugal, Espanha, Roménia, Turquia, França e Chipre.

Despesas de viagem entre Portugal e Polónia (ida e volta) 100% cobertas pelo Programa Erasmus+ até ao máximo de €360.

Alojamento, alimentação e transportes locais estão igualmente cobertos a 100% pelo Programa Erasmus+, sem qualquer custo para os voluntários, sendo ainda atribuída a cada voluntário uma quantia de “pocket money” no valor de €85/mês.

Descrição das actividades do projecto (em inglês):

The EVS volunteers will have the opportunity to support TRATWA in its projects:

  1. Helping in preparation for European Capital of Culture 2016 in Wrocław and participating in opening Event.

Volunteer will have possibility to help in official preparations and promotion activities. He/She will be able to observe preparation to a big event and also be a part of them.He/She will join group of many volunteers helping in this event and will be working in many teams.

2. Supporting the Youth Initiatives Centre “My Place”is addressed to teenagers and young people, who are in risk of social exclusion and is based on a non-formal education approach. The main aim is to support the youth in the process which is leading to social inclusion based on non -formal education.

The main tasks for volunteers:

– organizing language animation

– organizing workshops for young people with the possibility of use of the infrastructure that we have in our facility like photography darkroom, technical workshop (bicycle repair), music studio, theater room

– organizing meetings and presenting the culture of the countries of volunteers

– helping young people in learning, increase their motivation to learn and support studying

– help young people to realize their socio-cultural individual projects .

3. Supporting the social and cultural life of the neighborhood of Popowice 

The project Cultural Center aims to boost the social and cultural life of the neighborhood of Popowice, Wroclaw, where DEPOT is located. It works as social space, with information and activities for the local community, civil dialogue, public consultation. It is a place for debates, discussions, project presentations, art workshops, educational meetings, brainstorms, environmental workshops, integration, art initiating, etc.

The main tasks for volunteers:

– leading workshops for seniors

– organizing language animation

– support the local community to implement projects

– animate the local neighborhood by organizing of cultural events, workshops and exhibitions, organization of festivals or meetings for residents.

Additionally our organization counts on the volunteers to provide some assistance to the technical staff and develop workcamps on Zajezdnia building, an old hangar of trams that was converted into the main activities space of the organization by volunteer work for the past 10 years. The EVS volunteers will also have a positive impact in the life of the organization.

 4. Support local NGO’s, events and communities

One of the objectives of the project is to develop a sense of community, leadership skills and intercultural awareness through social activism. They volunteers will learn how to be workshop’s leaders and later they will design, prepare and execute workshops or local actions.

The main tasks for volunteers:

– volunteers will prepare and execute workshops and activities to promote European awareness in schools in the region,

– help the students to practice the communication in English,

– promote problem-solving methods and social activism.

The EVSvolunteers will also take advantage of this network by going around the Lower Silesia region to participate in social actions, to prepare activities in schools, to execute workshops in cultural centers and to volunteer in NGOs festivals.

Todos os candidatos, devem:

– Ser sócio(a) da Associação Spin (Ainda não és sócio(a)? Visita esta página!),
– Residir legalmente em Portugal;
– Estar interessado(a) no tema do voluntariado;
– Ter entre 18 e 30 anos de idade.
